the world is dying @ no one helps

The human race is most probably living on borrowed time. Animal & human populations expand when there is sufficient food & energy resources around to feed a growing population. This is sustainable when the energy comes from renewable sources, and where such a mechanism does not unduly disrupt the ecosystem that allow for this type of environment. It is unsustainable where the energy demands exceed the ability of the ecosystem to provide this growth indefinitely. The human population can use fossil fuel energy and the earth's finite resources to temporarily expand, however just like using a credit card eventually you have to pay for everything that has been bought. For example, cutting down the amazon rain forest will in the short term benefit the farmers, and allow them to buy more food for their families thus allowing them to have bigger familiies, However eventually when the forests are gone, the carbon sink it provides will have disappeared meaning big problems for the global environment.
